Very often we hear the outcry for economic development and resurrection of employment with no concerns whatsoever for water sources, environment and a quality of living. Only a degree of risk is sometimes mentioned. Without water, there is no economy.
Without water, there is nothing.
Undoubtedly the accumulation of wealth is the driving force behind the major corporations that are wilfully destroying our environment.

Only when the last tree has been cut down, the last fish caught and the last stream poisoned with pollution will we all realize that we cannot eat or drink money.
