Nov 26 (Reuters) - Spot basis bids for corn continued to firm at ethanol
production plants in the U.S. Midwest on Tuesday as dealers at those locations
sought to boost supplies with corn prices near three-year lows.
* Soybean bids were mostly steady to firm at processors and elevators. Grain
dealers said they were trying to spark some country movement as farmers finished
the last stages of their harvest.
* Processor and elevators bids for corn were mostly unchanged, although a
dealer at an elevator in Toledo, Ohio, boosted the bid at that location by 4

* Farmers selling was light. A dealer in Cincinnati, Ohio, said farmers were
calling to ask about soybean prices but few were willing to commit to new deals.
* Soybean futures rallied to a two-month high on Monday, which pulled up
cash prices close to some farmers' targets.
* The Mississippi River was closed to traffic for an eight mile stretch near
Le Claire, Iowa, due to a sinking vessel and oil discharge.
* Soybean futures and corn futures fell in early trading at the
Chicago Board of Trade on Tuesday after posting gains on Monday.
