CIF Gulf Grain-Basis holds on slow farmer sales, limited demand

May 12 (Reuters) – Basis bids for corn and soybeans shipped by barge to the U.S. Gulf Coast held mostly steady early on Monday as a drop in futures prices for the crops kept farmer sales to a minimum while demand from exporters was light, traders said.
