ad_wind_800Winds running up to 90 km/h are picking up soil Tuesday afternoon (May 14) in southern Manitoba. Environment Canada at 3:17 p.m. on Tuesday issued a wind warning for the Morden, Winkler, Altona, Emerson and Morris areas for northwest winds gusting from 70 up to 90 km/h, in the wake of a cold front that passed through the region, but added the winds are expected to subside by this evening. Photos by Allan Dawson.
