CIF Gulf Grain-SRW wheat basis weak ahead of harvest, corn firm

June 16 (Reuters) – Basis bids for soft red winter wheat shipped by barge to the U.S. Gulf Coast were lower early on Monday as hot and dry weather conditions were expected to speed maturity of the crop in southern portions of the Midwest, traders said.
