CIF Gulf Grain-Corn, soy bids firm on freight, slow farmer sales

July 21 (Reuters) – Basis bids for corn and soybeans shipped by barge to the U.S. Gulf Coast were steady to higher early on Monday, with the basis expanding gains from last week tied to slow farmer sales and higher shipping costs on Midwest rivers, traders said.
