There is nothing that compares to the smell and taste of homemade cookies, but you may not always have the time or energy to “whip up” a batch. Here’s a quick and easy solution for when your craving’s high but your energy’s low. I call them Freezer Cheater Cookies. When I’ve actually had the time to make cookies, I tuck a small container of the dough away and freeze it. If there’s just a little bit of dough left over after the last baking sheet is in the oven, then that gets frozen as well. When the time is right, I pull out my containers of cookie dough and bake away.
