Another year has ended and another has begun. Life moves on so quickly as the days pass one by one. Some days rich with laughter and others where we wept. New Year’s resolutions made in faith but seldom kept.

Did we listen to the troubles others wanted us to hear? Or were we much too worried how the crops would be this year? Did we hear the distant thunder and the twittering songs of birds? Did we try to be more helpful, were we kinder with our words?

Sometimes life gets lonely for those older and alone. Did we think about a visit, did we call them on the phone? Time is swiftly passing moving closer to old age.

Will we feel we’ve served a purpose when we turn the final page?
