CIF Gulf Grain-Corn, soybean bids steady to firm as futures erode

July 1 (Reuters) – Basis bids for corn and soybeans shipped by barge to the U.S. Gulf Coast were steady to higher early on Tuesday, supported by slow farmer selling and sinking futures prices, traders said.
