Enter the stripper header, a design that’s been around for decades that leaves taller stubble on fields to act as a snow catch during winter. As an added bonus, it can also improve the efficiency of your combine at harvest due to less straw going through the separator of your combine.
Last year we spoke with Scott Ousdahl of K-Hart Industries who had a ‘Raptor’ stripper header at Ag In Motion. We asked him what he was seeing for farmer interest in this ‘old, but new’ technology.
