Manitoba Beef Producers offering six bursaries in 2015

Manitoba Beef Producers (MBP) is offering six $500 bursaries to deserving Manitoba students in 2015. MBP awarded four $500 bursaries in 2014. The bursaries are available to MBP members or their children who are attending a university, college or other post-secondary institution. Students pursuing trades training are also eligible. Ed Tyrchniewicz was born on January 20, 1941, and grew up on a farm at Prairie Grove, just outside of Winnipeg. He attended a one-room, one-teacher school up to Grade 8. Following high school at Provencher Collegiate in St. Boniface, Ed attended the University of Manitoba from which he obtained a degree in agricultural economics
