Our history: Off to an early start in 1957

Recent warm weather may have some farmers thinking about early seeding this year, but it may not be as early as when Jack Pawich of Cartwright started seeding in 1957. Jack sent us this photo of himself seeding summerfallow with a John Deere 70 and a 24-run John Deere seed drill on March 26 that year. He’s seeded a crop every year since 1942.
