Being able to monitor the quality of your grain from the seat of your combine while harvesting in the field sounds like a pretty innovative idea, so much so that CropScanAg brought that idea into the physical world.

CropScan is an on-combine grain analyzer that provides real-time data – such as moisture, protein, oil, fibre and starch – as it makes its way to the hopper.

Seeding Indigenous agricultural prosperity

National Circle for Indigenous Agriculture and Food says Indigenous agricultural success needs strong relationships.

“You can make decisions immediately based on your numbers, such as, ‘is the moisture creeping up, should I stop, should I bin this somewhere else,’ that kind of thing,” says Dean Scrivens, technical sales specialist with CropScanAg.

The data from the CropScan 4000VT is fed into the cloud and delivered to the N-Gauge app which also displays protein data and coloured maps of your field which indicate high or low-protein crop areas in your field.

CropScan won first place in the Ag Tech category in the Innovation Showcase at Manitoba Ag Days earlier this year. CropScan was also awarded first place in the agronomics category at Ag in Motion in July 2024.
