An agricultural scholarship has been created in honour of Cam Brown, whose long and varied career in agriculture was recently recognized by his induction into the Manitoba Agricultural Hall of Fame (MAHF).

This new scholarship, to be administered by the Red River Exhibition Foundation (RREF), resulted from a $20,000 donation by T. K. Stan Cheung, a Hong Kong manufacturer and himself a PhD graduate of the University of Manitoba’s faculty of agricultural and food sciences.

Friends and associates of Cam Brown, in recognition of his significant contribution to Canadian agriculture, have decided to raise an additional $30,000 to make the Cam Brown Agricultural Scholarship the premier undergraduate scholarship available to Manitoba agricultural students. To this end, they will be contacting Cam’s friends, colleagues, acquaintances and peers across Canada and internationally inviting them to participate in this initiative.
