The Canadian and American Meat Science associations are joining forces to bring the major international conference for their sector to North America next year and in 2020.
The 58th International Congress of Meat Science and Technology will be held next year in Montreal. This year’s conference in Belgium just concluded. The site of the 2020 gathering hasn’t been decided.
The Canadian and American organizations signed an MOU in July to work more co-operatively and communicate more about their activities, says Benjy Mikel, AMSA president.
“Increased communication is seen as a foundation to greater co-operation not only between the AMSA and CMSA, but ultimately amongst the international meat science community.
