Glacier FarmMedia – For more than 50 years Canadian Western Agribition has drawn attendees interested in livestock, rodeo and farm life to Regina.
Now in its 53rd year, Agribition attracts attendees of all ages from across Canada and around the globe.
This year the festivities begin Monday, November 25 and run through Saturday, November 30. There are over 130 major events happening over the six day period, including a night of bullfighting, four nights of rodeo, the Indigenous Agriculture Summit, the Canadian Animal Agtech awards, and the 25th year of the Beef Supreme.
Alongside these great events there will be over 2500 head of livestock, 1500 tons of manure composted, and 1.5 million pounds of dirt moved in for the rodeo.

What are the dates and hours for Agribition?
The show happens from November 25 to 30, 2024, and gates are open daily from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Trade show hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
There are seven different event areas: John Deere Sale Arena, Exhibit Mall, Banner Hall, AffinityPlex, Viterra International Trade Centre, The Co-operators Hallway & Arenas, and the Bud Loading Chute and Ag-Ex.
The Maple Leaf Finals Rodeo occurs Nov. 27 to 30, 2024 with doors opening at 6 p.m. and the pre-show starting at 6:45. Don’t be late if you want to see all the action!

Where can I get my Agribition tickets?
Canadian Western Agribition tickets can be purchased online in advance or at the door. General admission grants access to everything on the grounds, except for the Freestyle Bullfighting and Maple Leaf Finals Rodeo. General admission is $28 for adults, and $7.50 for youth (13-17).
Bullfighting and the rodeo tickets are sold separately from general admission, with rodeo tickets starting at $32 per adult and $16 for 17 and under.
If you’d like to only attend the rodeo, there is no general admission needed after 5 p.m., just your rodeo tickets.
Opening day, Monday, Nov. 25, is free general admission, courtesy of CN Rail. And if you’re a Conexus Credit Union member, visit any Conexus location before Nov. 29 to pick up a free multi-day general admission Agribition pass.
Where are the Agribition show grounds located?
The Canadian Western Agribition show grounds home is 1700 Elphinstone St. Regina, Saskatchewan in the REAL District. It shares grounds with Mosaic Stadium, home of the Saskatchewan Roughriders, and The Brandt Centre.
Parking can be accessed from Dewdney Avenue at Princess Street, Elphinstone Street at 10th Avenue, and Lewvan Drive at 11th Avenue.
Is there a shuttle for Agribition?
The shuttle service for Regina Agribition is the Agribition Express. It’s a free ride service with three pickup/dropoff locations across the city, scheduled every 30 minutes from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The Express will operate each day of Agribition.
Additional late return busses will operate following the freestyle bullfighting and rodeo.
The three locations are:
- Northgate Mall, 7th Ave. N @ Smith St.
- Victoria Square Mall, Truesdale Dr. @ Quance St.
- Southland Mall, Gordon Rd. @ Rae St.
What should I bring to Agribition as a visitor?
Agribition is indoors and there’s lots to see. So, keep the heavy boots and jackets in the car, and exchange it for some good walking shoes and sweater, because there’s a lot of walking around to do. There are vendors, food, and shopping onsite, so it’s best to be prepared and have cash, debit, and credit cards on hand and a bag or backpack to carry purchases.

Locating events, food, shopping, and parking for Canadian Western Agribition is made easy with the show grounds map. But if you’re looking to speak to sales reps or look around at vendors, the interactive trade show maps will help you find specific companies and vendors.
What can I expect at the Maple Leaf Finals Rodeo?
The rodeo is one of Canadian Agribition’s big draws, and #CWA24 is the first year it’s presented by BHP. It’s a four-night extravaganza, with 10 of the top contestants in each of the eight major rodeo events. Rodeo events include breakaway, bull riding, saddle bronc, and team. roping.
The Maple Leaf Finals Rodeo is Saskatchewan’s highest-paying rodeo, with more than 23,000 fans attending. Make sure you arrive on time to get a good seat.
I’m looking to buy livestock at Agribition, how can I know what’s for sale?
Canadian Western Agribition is anchored in beef cattle and brings some of the best livestock to the forefront. Different species and breeds from across Canada and shown and sold during the six-day event. Bison, Texas longhorn, Speckle Park, and Maine-Anjou to name a few.
