BNN announced Monday morning it will rebrand to BNN
Bloomberg as of this spring. Bell Media (who owns BNN) and
Bloomberg Media said the BNN channel and its digital properties
will relaunch in the spring, with Bloomberg content and
reporters added to all of BNN’s platforms. Bloomberg radio
content as well will be distributed in Canada through BNN

CIBC has signed a deal to acquire Wellington Financial.
Financial terms of the deal are not available yet. The specialty
finance firm will become part of CIBC Innovation Banking, a new
business for CIBC focused on providing strategic advice and
funding to technology sector clients.
Ford Motor Co has announced plans to offer a diesel engine
version of its best-selling F-150 pickup truck as of this
spring. The move comes as Ford is looking to gain a marketing
edge as its rivals ramp up more efficient pickups of their own.
Ford said it expects the F-150 diesel model with a 10-speed
transmission to achieve 30 miles per gallon highway fuel
efficiency, a level comparable to some midsize cars.
