– Canadian gasoline prices are forecast to climb to their highest levels in four years in 2018, according to a report from GasBuddy. However, the actual prices seen at the pumps will vary from region to region, with Manitoba and Saskatchewan seeing some of the lowest levels relatively speaking.
– A massive winter storm is hitting much of the Eastern United States Seaboard and into Atlantic Canada. Record low temperatures and blizzard conditions have led to states of emergency and closures in some cases.
– The Dow Jones Industrial Average moved about 25,000 points for the first time ever Thursday morning, with strong U.S. jobs data said to be behind the latest move.
