The St. Norbert Farmers’ Market is open year round – and now all weekend.

Shoppers in search of local produce and hand-made goods will be able to shop Saturday and Sunday at St. Norbert Farmers’ Market starting October 17.

“It’s our job to provide space for as many local producers as possible,” the organization wrote on its Facebook page. “By opening all weekend, we can support more of the great folks we all know and love while maintaining a lot of space for physical distancing.”

From mid-October to Dec. 20, the market will be open Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Pickups from the online market will continue to be Saturday only said Marilyn Firth, the market’s executive director.

Spacing requirements due to the pandemic made it difficult to accommodate around 100 vendors as they moved inside for the colder months said Firth.

Vendors will be split into two groups of 50, one for Saturday and one for Sunday. The market will list which vendors will be present on which day every Thursday on its website and social media.

Masks are mandatory at the market, and hand sanitizer is available.
