Daniel has taught university-level classes in climate and weather and currently operates a computerized weather station at his home near Birds Hill Park, on 10 acres he plans to develop into a vegetable and fruit hobby farm.

This issue’s map shows the total amount of precipitation that fell across the Prairies during June. From the

map you can see that overall it was a wet month across the Prairies with a large region seeing more than 100

mm during the month and very few locations saw less than 50 mm.
