With a new growing season comes a new season (unfortunately) of pest insects that aim to make a meal of your crops. Here, John Gavloski, entomologist with Manitoba Agriculture, talks about two insects in particular – flea beetles and pea leaf weevils – and why growers should be concerned if they spot significant numbers of these two pests in their canola or pea fields.
