By the two front-page articles in the March 24 issue it seems that our friend Mr. Ritz has achieved some kind of peace, tranquillity or you might even say the light of religion as he agrees to pull back from the wheat board debate. He also has agreed that legislation is required to give all shippers the right to have the required level of service and even entertains the notion of a costing review when the service review is in hand.
This enviable state, however, came just before his government was to fall, convicted by a jury of their peers of actions detrimental to the fundamental working of Parliament. Malcolm Macdonald
