Alfalfa in the late bud to early flowering stage

This is the latest release for the Green Gold program assessing forage conditions in Manitoba. Reports will be issued from various areas of the Province (Eastern, Central, Interlake, and Western) in the weeks and months ahead.

Haying is in full swing in both the Eastern and Central areas. For the Interlake they are very close to starting and the Western area is still a few days away.

The reports below highlight the most recent forage conditions for Eastern, Central Manitoba and Western/Interlake:
