As Western Canada’s largest outdoor farm show, Ag in Motion has many opportunities for farmers to see equipment where it was meant to be: in the field.
Attendees at the July 16-18 event will be able to get in and around big steel, have a look at how machines interact with the soil, and watch a piece of equipment in operation under real conditions. Ag in Motion Field Demonstrations allow producers to see new options for earth-moving land scrapers, rock pickers and drones.
“Ag in Motion’s stage is the great outdoors, and that means way more opportunity for farmers to have a look at the real-time operation of equipment they might be considering for their farm,” said Rob O’Connor, Ag in Motion show director.

Grazing cattle in a drought year
It’s been another drought year in Manitoba’s Interlake in 2025. This beef farmer keeps his grazing plan adaptable to weather dry conditions and keep his farm resilient.
Drones
Drone demonstrations will happen daily at 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. along Seventh Street just north of Manitoba Drive.
Drone companies such as Debolt Ag Ltd./Ag Business & Crop Inc., LandView Drones and SITECH Western Canada will put their flyers through their paces. Organizers warn drone demonstrations draw a big crowd, so get there early for a front-row seat.
Land scrapers
This demonstration will combine smart software and hardware options for earthmoving on the farm.
It’s possible to solve drainage problems, build roads and pads, or create ditches and drains with equipment from T3RRA, K-Tec/Ashland and Ag Shield.
T3RRA provides farmers with water management solutions through land forming. Their complete package can be seen at Ag in Motion: John Deere’s 9RX tractor, Ashland’s 1812E scraper, and iGrade plus T3RRA Cutta in-cab land forming software that automatically controls vertical blade height. They say the system will provide in-field precision and vertical accuracy for this scraper to move earth using mid- to high-horsepower tractors.
Land scraper demonstrations will occur daily at 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
Rock pickers
Farmers have always fought with rocks. The trusty rock picker is a mechanical solution to save delays, repairs and hours of lost time. AIM will have rock pickers from GCB Equipment and others.
