The Manitoba Cattle Enhancement Council has three new councillors. Provincial deputy agriculture minister Barry Todd, Moosehorn-area farmer Charles Gall and Grunthal-area producer David Wiens were named to the council last week. Todd will now serve as the council’s chairman.
The council is tasked with managing investment in new beef slaughter and processing capacity for Manitoba and value-added beef marketing. Other members include vice-chair Gaylene Dutchyshen, treasurer Albert Todosichuk and executive director Kathleen Butler.
