Lows pushed below freezing at several spots on the western Prairies Wednesday, dropping to -5 C around North Battleford, Kindersley and Rosetown, -3 C around Lloydminster, Swift Current and Hanna, -1 C around Calgary, Saskatoon and Brooks, 1 C around Edmonton, Medicine Hat, Prince Albert, Moose Jaw and Weyburn, 5 C around Yorkton, Melfort, Swan River and in much of the Peace region, 7 C around Brandon and Dauphin and 11 C around Winnipeg.
Highs at WeatherFarm stations on Wednesday reached 23 C around Winnipeg and Portage la Prairie, 19 C around Regina, Moose Jaw, Estevan and Swan River, 17 C around Saskatoon, Swift Current and Russell, 14 C around Brooks, Prince Albert, Lloydminster and Melfort, 12 C around Fort St. John and Meadow Lake, 8 C around Calgary and Grande Prairie and 4 C around Red Deer.
