The weather period for April 20 saw warm temps reign during the daylight hours with many areas in all three Prairie provinces reporting highs in the double digits. In Alberta, Brooks and Medicine Hat reported 19 C, while Lloydminster, Red Deer and Edmonton ranged between 13 and 16 C. In Saskatchewan, Swift Current neared 20 C for the day while Prince Albert and Melfort areas saw highs of 14 C and 12 C respectively. Manitoba’s high for the day was east of Winnipeg as the area saw temperatures reach 14 C with Brandon reporting 10 C and Dauphin 12 C.
