Hotter temperatures remained parked over the southwestern Prairies Thursday as highs reached 34 C around Swift Current, 33 C around Medicine Hat, 28 C around Brandon, Yorkton and Weyburn, 26 C around Winnipeg and Dauphin, 25 C around Edmonton, Red Deer, Winkler and Selkirk, 24 C around Prince Albert, Melfort and Pinawa and 19 C around Grande Prairie.
Lows at WeatherFarm stations on Thursday dropped to 7 C around Calgary, Grande Prairie and Brandon, 8 C around Edmonton and Dauphin, 10 C around Prince Albert, Melfort and Weyburn, 11 C around Lethbridge and Fort St. John, 13 C around Yorkton, Swift Current and Nipawin and 15 C around Winnipeg.
