Valent’s, Quash fungicide now registered in Canada

Valent Canada has inked a deal that sees Nufarm distributing the newly-registered Quash Fungicide in Canada.

Quash Fungicide, containing active ingredient metconazole was registered for specific Canadian markets in early May.

It’s registered in canola, field peas, chickpeas, lentils, dry beans, potatoes and blueberries and controls a wide variety of infections including sclerotinia, powerdery mildew, ascochyta, early blight in potatoes, and mummy berry, anthracnose and phomopsis on blueberries.

Todd Younghans, of Valent Canada, said the two companies are committed to working together to provide retailers with products to protect and enhance crops ultimately improving profitability for growers.
