Saskatoon seeding, tillage and haying equipment maker Morris Industries plans to offer a round-the-clock tech support hotline from April through to mid-June.
“Seeding can put a lot of pressure on growers and dealerships,” chief operating officer Don Henry said in a release Monday.
“Morris sincerely hopes growers don’t have reason to call, but if a problem occurs and your dealer is tied up, Morris 360 Service is there to provide a speedy resolution.”
Operating from Thursday (April 1) until June 15, Morris 360 Service “will work together with dealers to provide immediate seeding support and ensure problems are resolved quickly and efficiently,” the company said.

The 24/7 service’s troubleshooting options include “emergency access” to diagnose problems and order parts, with “your choice of delivery arrangements.” The service will cover all Morris-made seeding and tillage products.
When problems arise, the company said, a Morris owner’s first call should “always be to the Morris dealer.” But if the dealership is unavailable, Morris owners can call 1-877-360-4360 to talk to a Morris 360 Service technical support or parts specialist.
“Seeding is the most important time of the year, and we understand downtime means potential lost profit,” Randy Ellis, the company’s director of North American marketing and sales, said in the same release.
