A boon of moisture this growing season has seen a number of nutrients flow further down into the soil profile, potentially putting them out of reach of your plant’s roots. But the symptoms of nutrient deficiencies – particularly canola – can be easy enough to spot if you know what you’re looking for.

In this video from Crop Diagnostic School, Marla Riekman, soil management specialist with Manitoba Agriculture, talks about how you can spot nutrient deficiencies in canola and what measures you can take to get your crop back up to speed to maintain optimal yields.
