VIDEO: AgGronomyTV: Verticillium and blackleg in canola come into focus

Verticillium stripe was more prominent in 2025 than what Manitoba canola growers have typically seen in past growing seasons. The crop disease resembles blackleg in canola and it’s made agronomists and researchers pay more attention to the soil-borne fungus due to its effect on crop yields.
