Closing market update: Canola climbs higher to start week | Jan. 5, 2026

Canola futures climbed higher to start the week, finding spillover support from advances in the Chicago soy complex. Corn and wheat futures in the U.S. were also higher, with positioning ahead of next week’s monthly USDA supply/demand estimates behind some of the activity.
