Each year, thousands of farmers across Canada take to the field for spring seeding. But how is that seed prepared before it gets into a bag for their seeder? We visited BrettYoung Seeds outside Winnipeg to learn about their process of sampling canola varieties, coating seed with different protectants to help ensure growth and where their seed is grown that ultimately makes its way into farmers’ fields.
