The Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers is also slated to meet this week, and information about the country’s production moving forward and its role in the global marketplace is likely to emerge following those discussions.
– Lumber production rose 19.5 per cent in January, with sawmills producing 5.8 million cubic metres of lumber.
Production was 5.2 per cent higher than January 2016, Statistics Canada said in a report on Monday.
