THE MAGIC OF WINTER

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Published: December 4, 2008

Imagine the magic of a fresh blanket of white, With snowflakes large and small falling, falling. Chances are, the snow may continue into the night, As it slowly, slowly acquires a sense of belonging.

The bare trees and branches begin to bend, With the weight of the newly fallen snow. Park benches are covered from end to end, And soon, many a ski-dooer will be on the go.

Meadows, lakes and rivers are all masked over, For now, there is a feeling of peace and quiet.

As all of nature settles in or looks for cover, Winter is here once again and children love it.
