Farmers’ Right To Choose

In his letter in the March 4 issue of the Manitoba Co-operator, Canadian Wheat Board director Bill Toews raises a question about a voluntary Canadian Wheat Board that all farmers should be asking their board of directors; “If such a thing was workable for farmers, why would it not be in place today?”

The simple answer to this question is that the CWB is standing in the way of what farmers have been asking them to do.
