– Prime Minister Justin Trudeau maintains protection for cultural sectors and a dispute settlement mechanism are essential before Canada will sign a new North American Free Trade Agreement. Trudeau is expected to be in Edmonton today. U.S. President Donald Trump has said he would slap auto tariffs on Canada or cut Canada out of NAFTA if a deal is not reached soon.
