This year, the dedicated Exhibitor Showcase area goes online, filled with engaging and interactive content from over 100 agricultural companies. Virtual offerings include: exclusive product launches, new products and services, detailed and downloadable product information, videos, show specials, polls, one-to-one chats, and much more.

The Exhibitor Showcase offers the opportunity to connect farmers with agriculture businesses that showcase their products, services, and special offers. It provides more information about each company through their bio, links and contact info, and can be used to connect with company reps to book meetings or for direct messaging questions and feedback. To learn more about what each company is showcasing representatives will be available through the five-day event. To get the full experience of the Ag in Motion Discovery Plus venue, farmers are encouraged to engage and interact with them. All registered guests can access the Exhibitor Showcase throughout the show using desktop, or the iOS or Android app.

The easily searchable product categories make it easy to find the exhibitors best suited to each producer’s unique farm needs, and the simple layout provides access to upcoming sessions and the exhibitors participating.

“Our digital event will deliver a variety of equipment demonstrations directly to farmers from the field,” says Rob O’Connor, Ag in Motion show director. “Each demonstration will be hosted or moderated by a member of the Glacier FarmMedia journalism team who’s an expert in the farming scenario where this equipment is used, with the intention of helping farmers meet their equipment needs this season.”

In true Ag in Motion style, farmers will be able to view the equipment up close, but this year they’ll participate via videos designed to show features and benefits from all different angles. In virtual equipment demonstrations, presented by Conexus Credit Union, a machinery expert will get behind the wheel to provide commentary for farmers participating digitally.

Confirmed participants to date include air seeders from Vaderstad, New Holland and Bourgault, plus the New Holland T9 Tractor and Versatile Nemesis. We have two Farm King mowers confirmed. For sprayers, you will see the ET Apache Sprayer, New Holland and John Deere sprayers

Additionally, Highline TMR Mixer will be set up in a working demonstration to show the importance of mixing for increased livestock efficiency, with demonstrations designed for both dairy and beef cattle.

Farmers won’t want to miss the digital UTV Ride & Drive experience, presented by BKT Tires. An engaging host will offer insightful commentary from behind the wheel, while taking off-road test drives in several different UTVs, including options from Kubota, Bobcat, Mahindra and Can-Am BRP.

Farm management software from Xarvio and AgExpert will be demonstrated, and several new product launches are anticipated – with details to be revealed live during the show!

“Innovation in agriculture is essential to the future of our industry, and to farmers’ ongoing efforts to grow the crops that help feed the world,” says O’Connor. “We are still confirming additional demonstrations, so farmers can expect a full and interesting lineup during Ag in Motion Discovery Plus.”

On Thursday, July 21, the Farm Safety Pavilion on 5th Street will be home to the 4-H Farm Safety Day as well as ongoing farm safety stations all three days of the show. Youth and their families have the chance to visit several organizations to learn more about safety both on and off the farm.

Farm safety exhibits will be open for the entire show and the program will finish with the exciting 4-H Farm Safety Day taking place in the pavilion on the afternoon of Ag in Motion’s last day.

Thursday is 4-H Farm Safety Day

Youth aged nine to 14 years old can register for this free after- noon program taking place at Ag in Motion. Participants will listen to captivating speakers sharing their stories, work through hands-on stations surrounding common hazards on the farm (i.e. electrical safety, fire safety, machinery safety) and end the day watching a demonstration of emergency response teams responding to a mock emergency scenario.

According to 4-H Saskatchewan, the program’s goals are to build awareness of safety issues on the farm and to empower youth with knowledge to act in an emergency.

4-H Saskatchewan is pleased to be working with several part- ners for 4-H Farm Safety Day: Ag in Motion, Saskatchewan Safety Council, Saskatchewan Association of Agricultural Societies and Exhibitions, Canadian Centre for Health and Safety in Agricul- ture, STARS Air Ambulance, War Amps and the Canadian Agricul- tural Safety Association.

Senior members and adults, ages 16 and up can join in too. Safety Ambassadors (SAs) will lead groups of participants through the stations. This is a special volunteer opportunity for senior 4-H members, parents and leaders.

Safety is important on and off the farm. The 4-H Farm Safety Pavilion will be open all three days of Ag in Motion from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Thursday’s special 4-H Farm Safety Day kicks off at noon and runs until 4:30 p.m.

“The aerial says it all,” says show director Rob O’Connor. “The crop plots are an eye-catching and clear way Ag in Motion sets itself apart from other farm shows in Western Canada. We bring the seed guides to life and better purchase decisions come from that.”

To prepare the plots, exhibitors begin planting a variety of crops on site in May and June to showcase their latest innovations and products. The crop plots, which are all 170 feet deep and range in frontage from 30 to 500 feet, are located around the perimeter and throughout the show site.

The live crop plot exhibits will showcase seed and inputs for a diversity of crops, including wheat, barley, oats, flax, hay mixtures, corn, soybeans and canola.
