Oak Lake celebrated a rural Manitoba tradition May 27 and 28 with its high school rodeo.
Forty high school and 18 junior high students were competing to gain points and perhaps the chance to compete in the Provincial Finals, slated for June 9-11 in Swan River.
The first high school rodeo in Manitoba began in 1995, with the junior high school division joining in on the fun in 2004.
