The economic bailout for Greece officially ends Monday. The
Mediterranean-based country was forced to ask the European Union
for help after its economy blew up in 2009. Since that time, the
country has engaged in austerity measures that have seen it
endure massive cutbacks to its public service. Greece’s debt is
pegged at 322 billion euros, much of which is owed to the
Eurozone. After Monday, no more money from the EU will be
available.
