Fairfax Financial Holdings Ltd. has signed a deal to buy
part of Carillon Canada, which filed for court protection from
creditors last month. Under the deal, Fairfax will take control

mining clients. Financial terms of the deal were not immediately

available.
Computer chipmaker Broadcom Ltd. raised its offer to buy

Apple users are reporting an issue with the iPhone X where
it stops them from answering calls. Users have reported when
they receive an incoming call on their iPhone X, the ringtone
will begin playing but the display will not turn on until after
six-to-eight seconds. The problem is solved temporarily with a
restart of the phone, but then returns after about 15 to 20
calls. Apple has said it is looking into these reports.
