By Commodity News Service Canada

WINNIPEG, April 11 – The following is a glance at the news moving markets globally.

– Crude oil futures dropped in early activity on Tuesday, pressured by increased shale oil production in the US, reports say.

Crude oil prices had risen to a five-week-high in earlier sessions, underpinned by uncertainty in the Middle East and an OPEC (Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries) production cap.

India’s economy will soon be in the world’s top five, when looking at absolute value, President Pranab Mukherjee said, according to reports on Tuesday.
