Start Preparing For Halloween

It’s not too early to start thinking about Halloween. I have made treat bags for my daughter’s class for Halloween goodies. After deciding how many and what size to make you’ll need:

2 pieces of felt (for each bag)

Fabric paint or puff paint (available at craft or fabric stores)

Ribbon

DIRECTIONS:

Cut two pieces of felt for each bag. Easier done if you first draw a pattern on paper. Sew around the outside edges of felt leaving an opening at the top, large enough to put treats in. Using fabric paint make faces on the pumpkins and sew on a ribbon handle. For the ghosts put paint around the outer edges, add a bit of detailing and the eyes.

This is a fun craft idea and easy enough for the kids to help with.
