Make A Denim Bib Or Two

Here’s one more use for those discarded jeans.

Using well-worn pieces of denim (fabric will have lost its firmness) cut two pieces according to given measurements measure-

having the double seam in middle of bib. Cut out two small pockets, hem top edge, nip outer edges, stitch in place. Add strips of contrast fabric to bottom of leg edges. Stitch sew-on appliqués if desired. Turn under .75 cm of neck edges of both pieces. Press. Topstitch, right sides up to join the two pieces. On remainder of bib, topstitch all around outer edges .75 cm from outer edges. Nip edges all the way around, quite close together reaching close to the seam. Place a snap at neck opening. Toss in dryer to fluff snipped edges.
