Hang Some Santa Shell Ornaments

Do you have a collection of shells? Why not display some as Christmas ornaments with images of Santa Claus on them? These ornaments are simple and fun to make, and can be a great addition to a tree or wreath – a perfect craft for the younger kids.

Materials: White shells

Santa faces or bodies White glue Ribbon Glue gun

Sponge brushes

Directions:

Dust any sand off of the shells. With the sponge brush, spread glue on both sides of the image and on the inside of the shell. Press the image into the shell. Allow time to dry. Glue ribbon as a hanger onto the back of the shell. Add bows and/or ribbon curls to the shells. Hang on tree or wreath.

When working with children, I found I needed to have plenty of shells and Santas on hand because the ease to make these ornaments combined with the delightful result kept the children and I very busy.
