Prairie wheat bids strengthen

Hard red spring wheat bids in Western Canada strengthened during the week ended July 3, as gains in the United States futures and dryness concerns in parts of the Prairies provided support.



CWRS bids weaken, but basis improves

Hard red spring wheat bids in Western Canada moved lower during the week ended May 15, as losses in the United States futures weighed on values. However, weakness in the Canadian dollar was supportive and basis levels improved.



AAFC forecasts more Canadian wheat acres, less canola in 2025
